In northern areas of North America, where freezing conditions may affect your product orders, please be advised that TLC is proactively working to minimize any issues; however some circumstances are beyond our control. In the meantime, to assist us in our efforts, please make arrangements for someone to be present when the product is delivered, if at all possible. Attendance records have been set … and reset … and I’m certain that we’ll continue on this course with the events ahead.

Be sure to continue to build for the remaining cities on The Limu Revolution Tour and for every TLC event, no matter how big or how small. Whether it’s a Corporate Event, Limu Night, TLC Briefing, or Super Saturday, it will be successful only if you … promote, promote, promote! For maximum results, it’s imperative that you not only promote the event, but also the speaker, to all your prospects and even to other Distributors. Whether it’s a TLC Executive, a top Field Leader, or another Distributor, promote them as you would a celebrity.

Meetings Defined

You don’t have to wait for special field or corporate speakers to conduct a meeting. The key is to have all types of meetings often and on a regular basis. Whether it's one on one (you and a prospect), two on one (you and 2 prospects, or you and another Distributor and a prospect), or a room full of people, anytime you are presenting the TLC business, this constitutes a meeting. With the new DVD and Meeting Guide, even a new Distributor can do it ... in any setting!

Purpose of Meetings

Meetings are an ideal place for your prospects to get a first look at the TLC business … and they provide the perfect follow up once you’ve already exposed them with the DVD. The greatest reason meetings are such an effective tool for recruiting is that a prospect can see a bigger picture of the company, product and opportunity. That’s why we say, The bigger the meeting, the bigger the picture. The most valuable part of the meeting is the people who are there and the stories and energy they provide. Your prospect will also see a support system that will help them build their own business.

Meetings are also where brand new Distributors can receive training, encouragement and support, and more seasoned Distributors can give and receive motivation and inspiration. Meetings are a fantastic way for Distributors to “charge their batteries” each week. Make it your goal to have at least one prospect, as well as your brand new recruits at every meeting. Even if you don’t, commit to attending weekly for your own motivation and also to support other Distributors who do have guests, just as you’d want them there when you bring someone. If you had a bad week, you need a meeting; If you had a good week, the meeting needs you!

Most Frequently Conducted Meetings

There are many types of meetings in the TLC Event System, all designed to help you build your business. The following are the most popular meetings involving groups of people.

  • Limu Nights are smaller, more informal in-home gatherings. Help new Distributors plan one within 2 weeks of enrolling. Help them invite family, friends and other contacts. Encourage everyone in your group to have them on a monthly basis. Lead by example!
  • TLC Briefings are usually more structured, more formal and take place outside of the home (hotel, church, restaurant, library, clubhouse, or other public area), usually on a regular weekly basis. If there is no meeting in your area, consider starting one yourself and invite other Distributors to join you. For maximum success, be sure to conduct meetings often and regularly, whether you have a special field or corporate speaker, or even if you are the speaker.
