We’re on the hunt for a swift and detail-oriented shooter/editor – fast and talented like a ninja. Missions involve conceptualizing, planning, and executing video projects in a hands-on creative environment utilizing in-house cameras and gear. As with all ninjas, travel is always imminent – you’ll be on site at many nationwide events & trips with camera in hand. Weaponry includes Canon DSLRs (mainly 7D and 60D) and GoPros with a variety of support gear/lenses to achieve the highest quality photo & video footage possible.

As a company, LIMU leverages emerging technologies and techniques to stay on the forefront of media innovation; experience and an interest in investigating and experimenting in various aspects of multimedia is strongly desired. Actual ninjas need not apply.

Ready to join the team?

Here are the qualifications:

• BA/BS in multimedia arts, film, graphic design or related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in video shooting and editing, or a combination of multimedia projects.
• Expert use of editing software in a Mac environment: Adobe Creative Suite 5/6/CC (specifically Premiere, After Effects and Photoshop), Final Cut Pro or Sony Vegas.
• Working knowledge of multimedia file types & video codecs, and of media management.
• Ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes an active role from concept to completion.
• Strong problem identification and reporting skills.
• Ability to conduct on-camera Q&A sessions and interviews.
• Skills in photography/videography with Canon DSLR cameras and lenses desired.
• Good computer/technological skills and understanding desired.
• Musical background/understanding desired.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Prelude, Encore and Audition a plus.
• Experience in color correction a plus.
• Graphic design and typography skills a plus.
• Experience in animation or 3D modeling a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
