We are Beth and John Parker and this is our LIMU Experience.
From the start of the New Year, people have engaged in a new trend. Instead of New Year’s resolutions, friends, family and coworkers have been choosing their “word” for the year – as I’m sure most of you have seen on Facebook. When charged with coming up with my “word”, I began reflecting on the past couple of months. The word I’ve come up with is MORE.
Since joining the LIMU family on November 23, my husband and I have been truly blessed and more.
We’ve had the opportunity to meet some amazing people and create some pretty awesome experiences that would have never taken place without this company. With all that said, in composing this story I think it’s most appropriate to include my word for the year, as it aligns perfectly with my LIMU experience.
Our life before LIMU was a good life. My husband and I had a very small circle of friends and our life was literally a real-life version of “Groundhog Day”: wake up, go to work, go to sleep, repeat. I work in education and John works for an ammunition company, so we make a decent living, but were always finding ourselves wanting “more”. We were able to afford the usual cost of everyday living but found ourselves never putting anything back for the future and praying that nothing drastic or life changing would occur, because we wouldn’t have the money to cover large or unexpected expenses. Socially we found ourselves in the same routine of limited or no interaction with new people and new experiences. No matter what steps we took to bring more excitement and fulfillment to our lives, we still found ourselves wanting “more”.
On November 23rd, after a little bit of arm twisting, one of my very dear friends convinced me to get on the phone with Brent Palmer to hear about what LIMU could do for my family. I believe my exact words were “I’ll sign up, but I can’t promise I’ll do anything with it”. John and I went to our first Experience party on a very rainy Friday night and met Brent Palmer in person. After that night, my husband saw the vision and jumped on board with me. Two months later, I can say with utmost certainty that LIMU has been a game changer for us, giving us the “more” we’d been missing. Not only has LIMU provided an added income into our household, but this company has provided us with opportunities to live more, be more, learn more and give more. Because of LIMU, we’ve found a sense of comfort and accomplishment that we didn’t have just two months ago.
When signing up for LIMU, neither of us were thinking about a lifestyle change. We had our eyes set on just earning an extra income. Since our enrollment, not only have we become more aware of changes in our health and wellness, but we’ve shifted our mindset towards more success and gaining more confidence.
Signing up for LIMU was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.
Not only have we made more connections with people with various stories and experiences, we’ve gained more friendships that will last a lifetime … all because we took a chance and trusted in an opportunity to work in an amazing company with amazing products and to align with truly phenomenal people.
