I am Yukie Suzuki, and this is my LIMU Experience.
I am an ordinary housewife living with my husband and 1-year-old child. Previously, I worked in an office and it was boring to live the same life every single day. My dream was always to help others, to be in the community, to live a more exciting life and share my excitement with others. But I didn’t have any confidence in myself … I didn’t feel I had any special skills or ideas. It just wasn’t easy to live ordinary days.
At the time my child was born, my husband’s job situation became more unstable, but I couldn’t leave my baby in daycare, because there was a long waiting list and we didn’t know when a spot would open up. Without any family to help us and watch my child, I couldn’t get a job even though I wanted to. I felt so useless just being home and not able to contribute, and it meant my husband had to work day and night. We didn’t have any other choice, and we were both physically and mentally exhausted all the time. The stress of not having much money was so hard. It felt like we were always fighting about money and lots of little things. Every day was painful, and I wanted to find a way out of this life for me and my family.
That’s when a friend introduced me to LIMU, and listening to one leader’s story I was shocked … I felt a wonderful opportunity come into my life and I was excited for the first time in many days. I thought LIMU would be a good thing to work with my husband, but at first he was not interested at all. When I started with LIMU, I had a lot of failure and it was difficult to succeed, but I stayed with it because I didn’t want to go back to my old life. I took my child to meetings, I participated and practiced speaking in front of people, and I learned.
The more I learned, the more confident I became in myself.
And then my husband said, “maybe I will drink LIMU too.” He started feeling better and had sharper focus in his work, so he could finish earlier and come home to us. We started to have a better life, talking more and spending more time together with our child. Our whole lifestyle changed for the better … and I couldn’t believe that HE was the one encouraging me to come to LIMU International Convention!
I am so happy and so grateful for LIMU. It is perfect for all moms with small children, so they can dream again and also be with their children … so the moms can be with their families and make a brighter future together.
I look forward to having our own better life with LIMU and I cannot wait to see what we become. I love Gary and I love my strong and great LIMU Nation.
