We promised an event unlike any other, and that’s exactly what it was. The 2018 LIMU International Convention was a classroom-style Training Camp with powerful guidance and coaching, winning strategies and a proven game plan for success that will revolutionize the businesses of all who attended.
You had to be there to take in this hard-hitting training first hand—and receive the coveted Training Camp Playbook—but we can share a few pieces of wisdom straight from the most focused and effective event in LIMU’s history. Here are the top five takeaways from LIMU Training Camp:
1. Focus on the proven LIMU System
Simple and straightforward, the LIMU System is comprised of three core elements: Events, Tools and Recognition. We know how important it is for you as a LIMU Promoter to be able to maximize your business-building efforts, and our System allows you to do that in the most efficient way possible. Following the LIMU System results in duplication, personal growth and leadership development. Here’s a snapshot of each component of the LIMU System, and some important notes on each.
Events
Events in our System include a variety of options. From LIMU Experience parties to one- on-ones, 3-way calls, conference calls, Facebook Live videos, local and regional trainings and corporate events like LIMU LIVE! and International Convention —the purpose of LIMU events are manifold. Above all, events help you enroll new Customers and Promoters, but they also serve to re-sponsor you and your team and deliver motivation, recognition and training. They also help showcase the bigger picture and provide third-party validation.
Tools
LIMU tools are simple, understandable and duplicable. They serve to tie together our training, leadership development and support system by reinforcing belief, recruiting, training and motivation. Our most important tools include the LIMU Share Mobile Prospecting App , your 2-minute story, Experience parties and 3-way calls … but the list goes on and on to include the Quick Start Action Plan, Memory Jogger, LIMU University, LIMU products, and much more. The best part about them? They’re all FREE!
Recognition
Recognition is critical to your success because it represents visible evidence of effort and achievement. Recognition happens at the corporate level with pin ranks, event recognition and awards—but recognition should happen often and immediately within your LIMU team as well. It’s your job to recognize your team members’ achievements consistently, not just on social media, but in person, at Experience parties and on calls.
2. Follow the simple LIMU Process
It doesn’t matter what your goal is. There’s a defined process of things that you must do to be able to accomplish it, and then you need to have the discipline to execute it every day. In LIMU, we have a simple Process for success, and the main ingredients all make up the LIMU System. If you want to excel and fuel your business each and every day, get to know the processes in place within the LIMU System of Events, Tools and Recognition.
• Use the LIMU Share App to share our interest-generator videos
• Define your ‘Why’ – the thing that drives you
• Get good at telling your 2-minute story

3. Remember: You have one job
Enrolling new Promoters and Customers is your one and only job in LIMU. That never changes. And to do that takes consistent daily action and the right attitude. Our LIMU System and Process are there to assist you in this one job, but you’ve also got to embody the right mindset day-to-day in order to be successful. Regardless of your pin rank, you should always be in build and create mode. Have clearly defined written goals and a burning desire to do what it takes to achieve them.
4. Use tools like the LIMU Share App daily
Downloading the LIMU Share App should be one of the first things you do when you begin your LIMU business, and it should be the first LIMU Process you and your team master in order to duplicate massive success in your organization. Once you have it, you can instantly share videos and text messages with new prospects or your existing contacts. You can send Promoter and Customer enrollment forms directly to prospects and prioritize your follow up with prospect lists organized by interest level and engagement. To learn the correct way to use the App, be sure to log into LIMU University (located in your IAMLIMU Back Office) and view Course 1, Chapter 6: “Using the LIMU Share App”.
5. Host Experience parties to build your team
Next to the LIMU Share App, another one of the most important tools is the LIMU Experience party. The key to a successful and effective LIMU Experience party lies in promoting it properly and following our simple and proven process every time, so that everyone on your team is doing parties the same way, and so that prospects see how easy it is and think, “I can do that, too!”
Here’s a snapshot of how to effectively host a party, but be sure to log into LIMU University to get the full picture:
• Host it
• Taste the products
• Mingle
• Play “The LIMU Experience” video
• Share your 2-minute story
• Invite/Sign up
Informing vs. Promoting
Here are some pointers on promoting your party—not just informing people that you’re having one:
• Don’t just post a flyer on social media and expect people to attend an event. Get on the phone. Let people hear your excitement.
“People hear your music, not your words. It’s your passion that will get people to events.”
• Make people understand that this is a can’t-miss event.
• Let them know about any featured guests, top Promoters, upline leaders or corporate staff that will be there to provide support and help grow their teams. Convey that the event is a big deal.
• Give examples of how attending LIMU events can change lives and give them reasons to find out more.
