I am Melissa Jackson, and this is my LIMU Experience.
I was working as a correctional officer at a maximum-security men’s prison. I worked so many hours that it seemed like my job was also my home. Many days went by with me driving into the driveway and talking to our kids for about two to three minutes before the school bus arrived. Followed by me walking through the door to spend some time with my husband for about ten minutes before he went to work. Yes, I worked 12-hour shifts working nights and he worked morning shifts until our kids returned in the afternoon.
I felt helpless and somewhat of a failure to our kids, because I was a part-time mom spending most of my time at work.
I felt like my husband and I were becoming more like roommates than husband and wife. I wanted to have date nights with the love of my life, attend functions at school for my kids and help them with homework. Bills were stacking up and it seemed like we could never get ahead. Robbing Peter to pay Paul. When would this madness stop? When could we see some light at the end of the tunnel?
There had to be more to life than this.
I wanted to leave a legacy behind for our children, not a mountain of debt.
I wanted to get into a business where I could help people. My job was taking a toll on my body. I never had enough energy and I could not sleep well. My husband was dealing with his high cholesterol and his terrible knee pain every day since he got out of the Marine Corps, along with many other health issues.
One day, my husband and I were shopping and headed to the counter when we were approached about LIMU by one of the owners and her mother. We were intrigued and wondered if this could be the answer to our prayers. We were strapped for money and wanted to sign up, but we talked ourselves out of all the reasons we could do it. But we were not pressured at all. As a matter of fact, they said when we were ready, they would help us to succeed.
As time went on, I found more excuses for why we could not spare $499. It took us a year, but we finally said enough was enough. Either now or never.
It was the best decision we ever made.
Since becoming a part of LIMU, I no longer work at the prison. I am a full-time mom attending school functions, helping with homework and the whole nine yards. My husband and I spend more time as a couple and we travel more. I sleep so much better since I have been drinking LIMU ORIGINAL and my energy level is through the roof! When I need an extra pick me up, I pick up BLU 2. Thank you, Mr. Gary Raser, for making our lives so much better.
My name is Melissa Jackson and I am LIMU!
