I am Gerrisha Webb, and this is my LIMU Experience:
Have you ever felt the feeling of asking why you’re here? I mean the feeling of wondering what’s your purpose on Earth? Should you be here or should you just disappear from the planet? Do you think anyone would care or even notice?
I used to have thoughts like these because I never had anyone that supported me or truly cared to know how I was. I struggled with finances and depression, but no one ever knew because I kept it all in. I didn’t know my purpose or what I wanted to do, but that all changed in October of 2016. My aunt and my mom called me early in the day asking if I wanted to go to a party a friend was having. I replied by saying I’m not really in a party mood after the long day of work I just had, so I will just pass and go next time. But then my mom was like, “Okay, but I need you to take me, so you have to go.�?
Deep down I was a little irritated by having to go because I was just not in the mood. Upon arriving, my attitude changed. Welcomed by so many people, it felt like home — a nice, warm feeling filled with love. So, I sat and listened to so many people tell their LIMU Experience stories and they all caught my eye in some way. One I heard was about finances and I knew I didn’t want to work all my life, so I needed financial freedom just like her. Another story I heard was about losing weight, and I knew that was my current situation and something had to change. The last story I heard was about medical issues and immediately I thought about my mom and all the health issues she was having.
With no questions asked, I joined that night and within just a month, I had reached 2K and gotten my money back.
I hadn’t even imagined reaching the rank that fast. I was just worried about my family and finances. Since joining, I’ve helped my mom lose over 20 pounds. I’ve even helped myself lose 15 pounds! My financial situation is not where I want it to be yet, but in due time, it will be, with the help of my supportive, motivating and loving mentors and team. Thanks to them, I no longer fight depression and suicidal thoughts.
For someone who people told would never accomplish anything, I am proud to be at the 2K rank in an amazing company. An amazing company — an amazing company that gives and is mindful of people and their struggles. When Houston got hit by Hurricane Harvey, it was overwhelming to see how supportive the LIMU family really is. That totally reassured me that I made the right decision in joining this company. I love helping others and so many times forget about myself. With LIMU I can help others while still helping myself. My goals now are to reach financial freedom and help as many people as I can by sharing my story. Thank you to LIMU and my supportive team.
