I have learned that having an amazing life is a choice, a decision and an attitude. I have had many times in my life where I had to choose to smile. Smiling is a great thing when you’re smiling out of joy and happiness, but not when you’re using it to cover up how you actually feel.
People know me as the fun one, the bubbly one, the happy one, even the crazy one. Growing up, life was a fairytale … amazing parents, great family, a successful family business that my whole family worked for. I smiled a lot. I married and had two beautiful children. Then I found myself a single mom with all the stresses that come with that and I still smiled. With amazing help and support from my family, I raised my kids. I met a man who is now my husband. It was all coming together! I could smile even on the inside now!
Then the call came. My hero, my pillar of strength, the man who told me I could do anything in this world, had passed away unexpectedly. How could I smile? Our family business was built on my father’s name. We continued without him, but we lost our contracts, and I began college to give me more opportunities. I knew I had to stand up on my own. My life was crumbling around me. I began living life day to day and faked a smile.
I was riding in the car with my best friend, talking to her about health issues that hadn’t been great. She listened and then tossed something at me. She said, “Drink this.” That one comment has changed the path of my future. I was depleted of nutrition, so when I began drinking the LIMU products the results were incredible. I had energy and didn’t have to drink 8 cups of coffee a day! I was helping run my family business and graduating from college, but I still found time to team up with my best friend in my LIMU business. I earned a BMW in 45 days with my sweat and hard work. I had extra money in my account. I began to believe in myself again and I was kicking butt doing what I loved! I smiled! The first real smile in a long time. I went 20K, then hit the rank of 50K! Our team was growing and expanding from Wyoming to South Dakota. I smiled. It was easy to smile now.
I was home and bent to kiss my dog on his head, and as I did, the unimaginable happened. He lunged and bit my face. Again, a traumatic event that would test my attitude. Rushed to a cosmetic surgeon, I received 50 stitches on my face. But that accident showed me a lot about myself. The healing process began on my face and my surgeon couldn’t believe how fast I was healing. He asked me what I was doing, and I said, “drinking LIMU!”
I had to dig deep. I had to realize that throughout my life, stuff will happen with or without LIMU. I had to realize that LIMU is more than just me, because I want to help other people. I can’t do that If I’m just thinking about myself — I must think of others. I’m truly blessed. I love myself with all my flaws and I can live my life to the fullest. As they say, “Giving is living.” I don’t believe I would have gotten to this point so quickly if not for the LIMU Experience. Thank you, Gary Raser, for knowing in your heart that others need the LIMU Experience. Guess what? I smile and smile and smile.
