I am Taylor Chadwick, and this is my LIMU Experience:
When I was 14 years old, I began my home schooling, and at the age of 16, I received my general education diploma. I then went straight into college, but on December 19 of that year, my whole world was torn apart.
On that day I went to pick up my cousin, who was nine months younger than me and more like my brother than my cousin; I was picking him up from taking semester tests at his school. It had rained that day and about halfway back home, I had an accident in which my truck slipped, went off the road, flipped, and stopped upside down in a ditch. That accident claimed my cousin’s life, my best friend in the whole world, and it left me feeling cold and empty.
Friends and family tried to comfort me, reminding me that it was just an accident, and there was nothing I could’ve done to prevent it. They were praying for me, but my world kept getting darker, more empty and cold every day. I went into a deep depression and shut almost everyone out of my life. I became a very angry and hard-hearted person, a person who I no longer recognized. I was also afraid of falling asleep, because I would have nightmares of what happened that day.
When I turned 18 two years later, I got a call from my older brother who had a job for me in the oil field. I worked away from home for one year, then I came back to Arkansas and worked several jobs. But even with several jobs, it was hard to stay afloat. Then, one evening my aunt Snapchats me and asks me to come to a LIMU Experience party for her. I was thinking “Oh God, it’s another one of those things, I’m going to sit there for two hours, and probably going to end up asleep by the end of it.”
When I arrived, there were already some people there, and the background music was Bruno Mars and uptown funk. So now I’m thinking “Well I won’t be falling asleep at this one!” Then a lady by the name of Jo Mitchell got up and told her story, and then played a video of Brent Palmer sharing his story. By the end of the Experience party, I had gone from trying not to fall asleep to saying, “I can do this!”
So, I borrowed the money from some friends and signed up. Fifty-four days later I reached the rank of 20K, thanks to my team and the awesome LIMU leaders in this company who have given so many helpful tips along the way!
What I say now is no matter what you face in life, you can still overcome and make it through! When life knocks you down, you come back up, fighting hard to reach your goals, because you are a winner!
Thank you Gary and Helen Raser for starting this wonderful company of opportunity for anyone who wants it!
I’m 20K Taylor Chadwick, and I am forever LIMU!
