My life took a radical turn at the age of 22 when my father got sick. He had sudden fainting spells and after intensive medical review, it was determined that he was suffering from chronic lung disease. This led him to be on oxygen 19 hours a day, but the news came while I was in the middle of my studies and knee deep in college and credit card debt. I just didn’t have the money to help my parents.
With my father’s condition requiring him to be constantly connected to oxygen, he became overweight and was ashamed to go out. He didn’t want his business associates to see him fragile, sick and obese … but that caused his business to slowly decline and eventually fail. With that added economic crisis, my family decided to sell some of their assets, along with the single car that they had fought so hard to obtain.
By the time I was 23, I realized that alongside my education, I had to somehow generate income to help my parents while my dad was recovering. My mother was the only one working and her income was just not enough to help us out of our crisis. I wanted all of us out of that crisis; I had the biggest “Why” in the world, my mom. Through all adversities, my mom would always give me a smile, a word of support and encouragement, and she believed that everything could change if we had faith that things would change. She said it took action to change our lives and build our dreams. And by August of last year, my father began to improve significantly after 8 months of medical treatment, with his use of oxygen reduced to just at night.
At the end of last year I met a person who changed my life and filled it with new dreams and a reason to start living – Danny Serrano, a Cuban who lives in Puerto Rico, introduced me to the LIMU Experience. He has become a brother, a mentor, and incredible support for me. We started this project in Colombia, and have a fixed purpose to help thousands of people economically and physically.
The LIMU Experience has changed my way of thinking, to live, to fight, and to believe that all we have imagined in our minds, we must make happen. Nothing should stop us from reaching and achieving our dreams.
I’ve been given the opportunity to have amazing friends, partners, brothers and sisters in success leading this movement to “Be Your Own Boss”. I’ve become a more disciplined person, from preparing the contact list, to knowing the best time to use the LIMU system, and to helping my team do the same.
LIMU ORIGINAL has helped me minimize my headaches, and it has now become part of my routine. I just wake up, open my eyes and head straight to drink my 2 ounces. And LIMU LEAN has helped me stay at my ideal weight with a perfect blend of nutrition. My father has also become a daily drinker of LIMU LEAN, and drinks his shake every day at dinner time.
LIMU has changed my financial life, and today at the age of 24 I can now say that I am debt free! I’m earning more income with LIMU than all of my classmates who depend on their parents for money, even for simple things like going to the movies or parties. With LIMU, I have the opportunity to travel around the country and best of all I am part of the BMW Club. While so many of my friends decided not to come out of their comfort zone, I am now building an incredible business, helping thousands of people learn about LIMU.
