I’m 22 years old physically, and according to a few surveys about 35 years old mentally, an old soul in a young body. In June 2009 I began attending college at the age of 16 years, I was a full time worker at a local gift shop, and I’ve worked full time since I’ve been 15 1/2. Hard work ethics were displayed to me since I was a young child, and it is definitely part of who I am today.
From June 2009 to March 2014 I worked at the Starbucks Coffee Company to further my personal and professional growth. I was the youngest store manager ever promoted in Starbucks history. I worked 40+ hours each week and dedicated my heart and soul to Starbucks, and even became one of their Store Manager Trainers. But I will never forget the chilling call I got on my day off in February, 2014. I was home sick and was told I needed to come in immediately with all work issued devices and keys. During my time with Starbucks I was selected for a Private Coffee Tasting with Mr. Schultz, the CEO and Founder. I interacted with corporate officials and was invited over to see them often at work, and into their homes. I knew something was off when my Boss called, and when I arrived he was stone cold and sheet white.
He sat me down and said “Cecil, you are being placed on a leave of absence for allegations relating to time theft from Starbucks. You are being asked to sign off and resign effective now, to remain and keep your dignity.” I knew in my soul he was corrupt and that I had done nothing wrong, but I was fired from Starbucks a month later when I refused to resign. At that time, I was in a lot of debt and drove a Brand New BMW X6, so I lived the life as some would call it, but I was burnt out on corporate. That’s when I joined another MLM, but a lot of negative things happened with my upline and though I learned a lot, I knew my time there was done.
I took a job working from home for Apple Care and loved it, but it just wasn’t my passion. So I messaged an MLM leader I had known of at my previous MLM, a man who lead with heart and was servant driven. I knew that God was leading me in a new direction: LIMU. I literally used my last penny to purchase the Fast Track Pack. I was set to be a 2K within 7 days, and we hit that goal as a team, as that leader flew out to assist with my first Experience Party!
I was soon approached by another MLM offering me $10,000 as an incentive just for joining, but I told him that I was finally home. The offer was then increased to $25,000 and I told him “You can offer me 1 Million Dollars and I’m not leaving. I can’t promote something that I don’t have a passion for.”
As I sit here and write my story, I still have debt but I’ve paid almost 90% of it off … I’m an investor in a clothing company, and I’m just about to finish my transfer credits and Associates Degree. I resigned from Apple to promote LIMU full time, and have since been asked to return to Starbucks as a Store Manager with a vast increase in pay. But I declined with special joy knowing that I will never again be in the shackles of corporate walls. Big things will happen with LIMU, I have no doubt about it, and I’m so excited to meet the rest of the LIMU family in Texas.
I’m Cecil Arispe, and I am LIMU!
