LIMU Gives is all about supporting organizations that help people who need special assistance and tender loving care, and the Ronald McDonald Houses fit that bill perfectly, all around the world.

We support the Houses because each one represents a “home-away-from-home” for families that have children facing medical challenges. These are families that most often come to a strange city to get specialized treatment for their young children, and they have no support system in their temporary home. In fact, before the Ronald McDonald Houses existed, families facing these kinds of situations were often split up or had to sleep in expensive hotel rooms or even in their vehicles. Medical care is getting more and more expensive for families, and the Houses make a huge difference to their experience, both financially and psychologically.

• We’re a significant financial sponsor of the Annual Ronald McDonald Houses Share A Night Fundraising Campaign, which helps fund family stays for those who cannot afford the $15 per night cost.
• LIMU pays for and our staff provides home-cooked dinners to House families on a quarterly basis as part of the Share A Meal program, with LIMU employees volunteering to prepare meals right on-site. Our LIMU staff loves to meet and eat with the families and House staff, who are always so grateful for our efforts.
• Rowdy Gaines, our great LIMU Ambassador, also visits Houses and their hospital partners throughout the country whenever he travels to LIMU Member events and NBC announcing engagements. He has even visited Houses in Japan!
