Choosing to Accelerate

It’s time to step on the gas. It’s time to accelerate.

I am excited. Let me rephrase that: I am excited! Now, I often am, as I’d classify myself as an optimist. For me, the glass isn’t just half full … it’s mostly full. Occasionally, I am accused of both being excited and saying it too much, especially when I’m in front of Members of the LIMU Nation. That said, as we move a little further into 2011, LIMU is accelerating. We are gaining speed. If that’s not reason to be pumped for the future, I don’t know what is. ‘Accelerate’ is the theme of our international convention in Ft. Worth a few short weeks away. It’s also the way we’re viewing the entire rest of our year. Are you on board?

I’ve been hearing a few of our Members talk about getting started or restarted with LIMU. Now, if you’re already going, if you’re already moving and engaged and working, well done. Keep doing all you’re doing. For the others who might need some extra motivation, allow me to share a great quote by Zig Ziglar: “You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” What are you waiting for? You can’t actually accelerate if you haven’t truly, honestly, whole-heartedly started. Put that key in the ignition, start that engine and really step on the gas! Now’s the time to do so.

Once you start, you will feel some of that excitement. I invite you to make the decision to really choose to be excited. Choose to look at LIMU as the vehicle that will change your life and the lives of those around you. Choose positivity. John Wesley, a great leader on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, is credited with one of my favorite quotes. He said: “Catch on fire with enthusiasm and people will come for miles to watch you burn.” By sharing LIMU’s Fucoidan-focused nutrition lifestyle with others, you’re able to “set yourselves on fire,” so to speak. That power is within you. I believe that.

It’s time for the rubber to meet the road. Are you ready? Are you ready to accelerate?
