Rowdy Loves Ronald McDonald Houses!
On behalf of our LIMU Members, LIMU Gives supports Ronald McDonald Houses, and our own Rowdy Gaines loves to visit them whenever he can.
In fact, over the last five weeks alone, Rowdy has visited Houses in three states: Orlando, Florida; Ann Arbor, Michigan and Phoenix, Arizona … talk about a globe trotter. The families being housed so appreciate his visits and Rowdy especially loves the time he spends with the siblings of the children being treated at nearby hospitals. Those kids face difficult medical challenges but they are made easier by the great care that families receive at Ronald McDonald Houses. That’s why we love to support their efforts.
At the Orlando Ronald McDonald House, Rowdy was part of our Share-A-Meal night as LIMU provided a homemade dinner for over 50 guests and staff. In Ann Arbor, Rowdy visited the local House to meet the staff when he was in town for an NBC swim meet. And Rowdy and his Team BLU FROG teammates took time out from their record-setting appearance at Masters Nationals to stop by the Phoenix House at dinner, visiting with all of the families and signing autographs. The staff even put Rowdy on their Wall of Fame, which features all of the famous athletes that have visited the house.
LIMU loves to give back to our communities, ours and those where our Members live, through LIMU Gives … and as our representative around the country, Rowdy is certainly a hero to many Ronald McDonald families!
